The “war on women” has been one of the most popular, powerful and effective political phrases in recent memory. Yet debate continues to rage between Americans on opposite sides of the political aisle regarding what constitutes a war on women and who’s waging it. What is not up for debate, however, is that as long as America has existed, there has been a war over women’s bodies. The War Over Women will be the first series to tell the definitive history of the war over women’s reproductive rights in America.
