Civic Life Project's teaches the values and ideals of Democracy through documentary filmmaking. It invites and give the means to our next generations of American citizens to use their voice to affect change. Our unique model allows even the most disenfranchised and uninvolved of students to express themselves using the media and social media tools. Our proven pedagogy and approach teaches students to connect with their local communities by exploring and presenting the ideas that are central to bettering their lives. Since its founding in 2009, Civic Life students have produced and presented in public forums more than 80 short films about a wide variety of public issues.
