NORMA JEAN STRAW Director of Business Development
Norma Jean Straw has produced award winning feature films and over 50 episodes of nationally broadcast TV. In 2007 Norma was nominated for a National Daytime Emmy Award for the children's show Hip Hop Harry in the category Outstanding Pre-School Television Series. Hip Hop Harry is currently airing 5 days a week on Discovery Kids and The Learning Channel. Norma is a writer, producer, and the casting director for the award winning series.
In partnership with Salty Features she produced the award-winning feature Evergreen, written and directed by Enid Zentelis. Evergreen premiered in dramatic competition at the Sundance Film Festival (2004) and was nationally released in 122 theaters through a unique digital distribution partnership with AMC Theaters.
Norma is also the Line Producer for the PBS Children?s series BizKid$, from the creators of Bill Nye the Science Guy. Norma holds a BA in Political Economics and Visual Art from The Evergreen State College and is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
