STEVE BOYD President

Steve Boyd is a principal of MacDonald Boyd and Associates. Since 1976, Steve has consulted as a leadership strategist to CEOs, executive teams and boards with several hundred enterprises cultivating leadership development, strategic thinking and planning, executive team development, coaching and organizational change.

Steve's work experience includes being the chief executive of three public and non-profit enterprises over twenty years. Most recently as founder and President (1984-94) of the Washington Leadership Institute and the Washington Governors' School for Citizen Leadership. WLI is a private, not-for-profit civic enterprise initiating model programs in leadership development, civic education and community service and problem solving with youth and adults.

From 1982-1984, he was a Fellow at Harvard University's Center for International Affairs where his research focused on public participation in American foreign policy, strategy, social change and leadership development. He holds a bachelor?s degree in politics and a master's degree in educational psychology from the University of Washington.
